Anjani Putra Sena sending essential supplies to Nepal after the 2015 earthquake

On April 5, 2015, a devastating earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck Nepal, also known as the ‘Gorkha earthquake’. Its epicenter was in Barpak of the Gorkha district, approximately 85 km northwest of Kathmandu. The earthquake caused massive destruction in large parts of Nepal, with many buildings and towers collapsing in Kathmandu.

Magnitude and Epicenter: The earthquake’s magnitude was 7.8 to 7.9 (Mw) and its epicenter was in Barpak of the Gorkha district.

Deaths and Injuries: In this earthquake, approximately 9,000 people were killed and more than 22,000 were injured across several countries, including Nepal, India, China, and Bangladesh.

Homes and Displacement: Millions of people were left homeless, and entire villages were destroyed in many districts of the country. Approximately 750,000 homes were damaged or destroyed.

After the devastating earthquake in Nepal, Anjani Putra Sena made every effort to help the victims, and we were successful in our mission. Our workers went door-to-door through various streets, societies, slums, and other localities, collecting everyday essentials such as food, clothes, blankets, sheets, and medicines from everyone. We then arranged to send these supplies to Nepal.
